Lab Testing Services

Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all lab testing kits and related services provided by Phil Richards Nutrition Lab (“we”, “us”, “our”). By purchasing or using one of our partner lab (Regenerus & Invivo) testing kits, you agree to these terms.

 

1. About Our Testing Services


Phil Richards Nutrition Lab provides access to both:

  • At-home test kits (for customers to collect samples themselves), and
  • Lab-based testing (where samples are collected and results collated by third-party accredited laboratories or professional phlebotomists).

Our role is to supply, coordinate and support the process – we do not collate the laboratory reports ourselves.

2. Intended Use


Our testing services are designed for information and educational purposes only. They are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always speak with a qualified healthcare professional before making any changes to your diet, medication, or lifestyle based on test results.

3. Ordering and Delivery


Test kits are dispatched by our partner labs once payment has been made for the respective panel by the customer.  The aim is to dispatch test kits promptly after purchase. Delivery times may vary depending on stock levels and location.
You are responsible for providing correct delivery information at checkout/ when ordering your test kit. If a kit is lost due to an incorrect address, replacement costs may apply.

4. Kit Expiry and Storage


Each test kit has a clearly marked expiry date.
Please check this on receipt and ensure your sample is taken and returned within the recommended timeframe.
We cannot accept responsibility for expired kits that were not used before their expiry date.
Replacement kits for expired or damaged products may be issued in accordance with our partner  lab policy’s (Nordic T & C’s) and (Regenerus T & C’s)  and may be subject to a replacement fee.

5. Sample Collection and Blood Draws


If your test requires a blood draw or other sample collection, this must be carried out either:

  • By yourself using the enclosed instructions (for finger-prick, stool or urine kits), or
  • By a qualified healthcare professional or third-party phlebotomist for venous blood draws.

We are not responsible for unsuccessful or incomplete sample collections, including failed blood draws, insufficient samples, or issues caused by third-party professionals.
Where possible, we will support you in arranging a re-test or replacement kit (fees may apply).

 

6. Use of Third-Party Laboratories


Your sample report will be collated by an independent accredited laboratory.
We take care to work only with trusted partners, but we cannot accept liability for laboratory delays, processing errors, or loss of samples once they have left your possession.

7. Results and Interpretation


Your results will be sent securely via email or an online portal.
Results are intended to help you understand potential health markers but are not medical diagnoses.
If you have any concerns about your results, please speak with a GP or qualified practitioner.

8. Refunds, Cancellations and Returns

Whilst we hope you are happy with your decision to have your lab tests analysed by Phil you have the right to change your mind. As all test kits for our customers are provided via a third-party provider, their refund and cancellation policy will apply. Please find details of their policies below:

If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us on info@philrichardsnutritionlab.co.uk as soon as possible to request cancellation. We will support you in this process and contact our partner labs on your behalf to establish whether cancellation is possible, any refund due and any further action required.

9. Faulty or Damaged Kits


If your kit arrives damaged or incomplete, please contact us at info@philrichardsnutritionlab.co.uk as soon as possible but at least within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the issue.
We will contact our partner lab to arrange a replacement where appropriate.

10. Privacy and Data


We take data protection seriously. Personal and health-related information is handled in line with our Privacy Policy.
Your data will be shared with the relevant laboratory and healthcare professionals for testing purposes only.

11. Limitation of Liability

Phil Richards Nutrition Lab will not be liable for:

  • Delays caused by postal services, couriers, or laboratories
  • Expired or incorrectly stored kits
  • Failed or incomplete sample collections
  • Incorrect interpretation or reliance on test results
