I (Phil) have understood for several years that if you don’t acquire optimal digestive health, it is literally 100% impossible to have good overall health both physically & mentally for a multitude of reasons that I will cover in great depth during this incredible ground breaking webinar/workshop and after analysing several hundred blood & stool samples over many years unfortunately most people’s digestive health I analyse is very poor due to poor diet, stress, toxins & prescription medications.

Digestive System - Phil Richards Webinar

Evidence shows that many chronic metabolic diseases begin in the gut.

Some of the most common things I see that lead to poor digestive health which then leads to poor overall health from looking at both blood and stool testing is low stomach acid, helicobacter pylori, pancreatic insufficiency (not producing enough enzymes), pancreatitis, too much or too little bile acid production, poor detoxification via the stool, inflammation in the bowels, poor gut barrier health (IBS), leaky gut, too much blood in the stool, low immune function, poor gut microbiome diversity and intestinal parasites.

Poor digestive health is why so many people struggle to gain muscle and lose excess body fat. Why? Think about it if you can’t digest your food properly you simply haven’t got the nutrients to build muscle and there can be multiple reasons why this occurs which will be covered in great depth in this webinar/workshop.

New evidence indicates that gut bacteria alter the way we store fat, how we balance levels of glucose in the blood, and how we respond to hormones that make us feel hungry or full. The wrong mix of microbes, it seems, can help set the stage for obesity and diabetes from the moment of birth.

Digestive health is essential for building muscle & losing fat.

 Ensuring you have a healthy pancreas is crucial to ensuring you have an abundant enzyme supply which helps the body break down fats, carbohydrates, and proteins along with viruses and cancer cells.  There is a great test called pancreatin elastase which comes from testing your stool that will indicate the health of your pancreas from an enzyme perspective and unfortunately, I see so many people today with very low enzyme production which will significantly affect your overall health.

Building Muscle is the Key
;

Ensuring you have optimum enzyme production is essential for health and performance!

The Gut Brain Connection:  For you to have a fully functioning well-nourished brain you must first have a fully functional digestive system.  After all, if you can’t digest the nutrients the brain needs to function you will suffer from brain drain no doubt about that.  Remember the brain is totally dependent on what you eat and digest!  Nearly every chemical that controls the brain in the head has been identified in the gut, including hormones and neurotransmitters!

;

The health of your gut determines the health of your brain and vice versa!

 What is leaky gut? Our intestine has an extensive lining covering an area of about 4000 square feet. This lining consists of tiny finger-like projections called ‘villi’ that regulate what is absorbed into the blood plasma. It is a delicate balance; the intestine wall must allow water and nutrients to be absorbed into the bloodstream while blocking chemicals and bacteria. When villi health and the intestinal barrier is functioning normally, this balance is preserved.

;

Leaky gut can lead to autoimmune diseases and obesity.

In some people, however, the villi get damaged and intestinal lining malfunctions due to several reasons. This causes toxins, bacteria, proteins, and other substances from the intestine to leak into the bloodstream. This is called a leaky gut. Your immune system may see these leaked substances as harmful and trigger an immune response causing inflammation. A long-term inflammation can cause further medical conditions like IBD, IBS, autoimmune disorders, acne etc.

It has been repeatedly shown in several well-designed studies that the integrity of the intestinal barrier is a major factor in autoimmune disease.

;

In this webinar I will explain what stool tests can indicate if you have leaky gut along with the severity of it and how to heal & prevent leaky gut.

Over 70% of our immune system is housed in our digestive system so the healthier our digestive system the more effective our immune system becomes. The gut microbiome thrives on plants, fruits & resistant starch and if these foods are not present in abundance in our diet, then immune system function will decline significantly.

The Gut Oestrogen Connection

Every system in the body is connected and our gut is intrinsically linked to overall health and hormone balance. The estrobolome is a collection of bacteria in the gut which is capable of metabolising and modulating the body’s circulating oestrogen. It is the bacteria in the gut, and the estrobolome, that affects oestrogen levels, which in turn can impact weight, libido and mood.

;

Too much beta glucuronidase increases oestrogen reabsorption and can lead to oestrogen dominance and obesity!

When the gut microbiome is healthy, the estrobolome is producing optimal levels of an enzyme called beta glucuronidase too much and oestrogen levels become imbalanced. As the liver metabolises oestrogen, this conjugated oestrogen is delivered to the bile for excretion into the gut.

A healthy estrobolome minimises reabsorption of oestrogen from the gut allowing safe removal as waste in stool and urine again ensuring hormone balance. Gut dysbiosis is an imbalance of the gut bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract.

If there is an excess of bacteria that produce beta glucuronidase, this reverts oestrogen back into its unconjugated active form and it is then absorbed back into the bloodstream resulting in oestrogen dominance.

Gut Microbiome

In this webinar/workshop you will learn how to lower beta glucuronidase via your diet and certain supplements.

;

Oestrogen dominance can easily occur due to poor gut health!

There are around 44,100 new bowel cancer cases in the UK every year, that’s around 120 every day. Bowel cancer is the 4th most common cancer in the UK, accounting for 11% of all new cancer cases.

If you want to prevent Obesity, Bloating, SIBO, IBS, IBD, Crohns Disease, Colon Cancer & Pancreatic Cancer along with optimising your health & performance this webinar/workshop will give you all the information needed to do so.

Poor diet & your toxic load including prescription medications can initiate IBS, IBD, Crohn’s Disease & Colon Cancer!

What You Will Learn

What Phil will cover and more in great depth in the incredible health benefits of optimising your digestive system webinar/workshop some are listed below

Things that you will you learn in this Webinar.

  • How to know if you have low stomach acid what are the symptoms and what tests can indicate this.
  • How to optimise stomach acid if it’s low which will cause bloating and an inability to digest food properly especially protein.
  • How to test for helicobacter pylori and how to eradicate if you test positive for it around 40% of people in the UK have this which can become very problematic.
  • How to test for pancreatic insufficiency or pancreatitis.
  • How to improve the pancreas function and decrease pancreatic cancer.
  • The importance of the liver and gallbladder for optimising digestion and overall health.
  • How to test for leaky gut which can lead to a plethora of diseases especially autoimmune disorders and obesity.
  • The incredible connection between the gut and brain and why it is so important to have good gut health if you want good brain health and function.
  • The importance of having a healthy gut microbiome diversity which ensures the gut microbiome is helping to optimise your health and not sabotaging it.
  • How to ensure you are detoxifying effectively through the bowels and what stool markers can indicate whether you are or not.
  • How to prevent bowel cancer and what stool tests do you need to have to tell you the state of health of your colon.
  • What are the best pre and probiotic foods that allows the gut microbiome to thrive and what foods cause the gut microbiome to become very inflammatory leading to obesity, IBS, Crohn’s Disease and colon cancer,
